Hundreds of millions of people make their livelihoods from hillside and terraced farming. SAK Global is a research-based organization that aims to distribute innovative, practical, and low-cost farming concepts and tools to improve subsistence farming. They are finding that sustainable agriculture kits (SAKs) can improve agricultural productivity, reduce female drudgery, and contribute to environmental sustainability. Based on the perspectives of local Nepali farmers, this video project shows the benefits of SAKs in the hilly and mountainous regions of Nepal.
